Her Hair is on Fire

The Santa Ynez Mountains' hair is burning. The traditional fireworks display offed, the patriotic music and oohs and ahhs were muted, and the glow tubes unsold, because of the absent firefighters. They tend the lines in the High Chaparral and protect residential property that interpenetrates Nature. The misnamed Gap Fire (source not near Windy Gap) churns out ash with the smoke and expels the fauna. Yet the Land will be renewed and refurbished. The A-Team is coming in from Montana to take charge. Not to worry Cloneville only gets occasional periods of smoke.
